Strawberry and Purple Basil Jam

Strawberries are a cooling fruit and jam packed with antioxidants! Enjoy this spin on a classic recipe.

  • 4 c strawberries
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 6 big leaves of purple or green basil (optional)
  1. Cut berries in half, quarters if they are bigger berries
  2. Add all ingredients into a medium saucepan
  3. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer
  4. Let simmer on low for about 15-20min or until desired thickness
  5. While Jam is cooling, finely dice purple basil, add into jam.


Yield: 250ml Mason Jar
